NETFLIX fans are convinced they have found the perfect Bodkin replacement, which they have dubbed a ‘10/10 gem of a movie’.
While fans stay hopeful for a second season of the new thriller series they have been looking for something to fill the void it has left.
Last month, Bodkin aired on the streaming site and received a strong response from users.
The series racked up 1.9 million views in the last week and continues to make waves across the streaming platform.
Sweet Tooth’s Will Forte takes on the lead role of Gilbert Power, an American podcaster who has travelled to the idyllic and fictional town of Bodkin to investigate a cold case involving the disappearance of three people.
Investigative journalist Dubheasa ‘Dove’ Maloney (Siobhán Cullen) - who has been sent to the town on a mission following the death of her source, a government whistleblower - joins Gilbert.

The more the pair look into the case, the more it becomes clear that this picturesque town is determined to hide some deep, dark secrets.
After users binge-watched Bodkin and await a second season, they were left with a void that needed to be filled with a similar series or movie.
Taking to Reddit, a user asked for recommendations, and there was one popular suggestion, The Guard.
The comedy crime thriller stars The Banshees of Inisherin's Brendan Gleeson, Avengers Endgame star Don Cheadle, Kingsman's Mark Strong and Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham.

The hilarious and thrilling relationship between Sergeant Gerry Boyle, a police officer with unorthodox methods and FBI agent Wendell Everett makes a captivating watch.
