Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts sends warning to judges & calls for HUGE part of show to be axed in semi-finals
BRITAIN'S Got Talent winner Paul Potts has warned against a major part of the semi-finals.
The singer insists using buzzers should be ditched after Simon Cowell "put off" Andrew and Kevin.
Paul told : “I don’t think Kevin [Finn] had the best of nights. He was really good in the audition but it’s so hard for comedians in a programme like BGT.
"You don’t have a lot of time to get an audience on your side and if you don’t do that then you end up floundering.
"I think any comic would flounder in those circumstances. It can be off-putting for any act to continue at your best when you have been buzzed.
"I don’t think it helped Kevin, for sure. I was though fully expecting Simon to buzz Andrew [Curphey] and to be honest Andrew was probably expecting it as well. It didn’t throw him at all as he’s so full of joy.

“I think if an act is going really badly, I don’t think it’s rude. The buzzers are there for a reason.
"But it does pose the question that if you are going to use the buzzers, why are they in the semi-final? The buzzers should be used really carefully.
"I think if you have the quality you kind of wonder if there’s any need for the buzzers.”
The 54-year-old won the show in 2007 - and he's now beacking Abigail & Afronitaaa to take the crown this year.

“They certainly could win," said Paul.
"The world is full of hopelessness in certain ways at the moment so some joy would have a lot of impact.
"And the pair of them absolutely ooze enthusiasm. They leave it all out there and they really epitomise joy.”
He continued: “I think Harrison [Pettman] did well - ‘He Used To Be Mine’ is actually one of my favourite broadway songs.
"I think it’s really hard to sing a woman’s song as the range for females is much wider than for a male.
"He has picked good material. He must not give up and keep plugging away.
"He’s got to a semi-final which is still one hell of an achievement.”
Britain's Got Talent: The final airs on ITV on Sunday.
