In his act, much like his first audition, Kevin satirised various British accents, including Cockney, Scouse and Blackpool.

Unfortunately, it appears his efforts missed the mark as many fans were left unimpressed - as well as one of the judges.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, a viewer commented: “Kevin was better in the 1st round. It wasn't that he was too fast, the jokes were just s**t today. Audience weren't laughing, they were just cheering every time they heard a city name.”

Another added: “I have muted the TV whilst Kevin Finn is on. This is painfully unfunny. #bgt I didn't think his first audition was funny either.”

Meanwhile, a third wrote: “My God, has Kevin Finn been frozen in ice for the last three decades. Farts, strippers and Scouse accent jokes. There has to be better than this #BGT…”

As a fourth penned: “Kevin Finn’s TikToks are quite funny but this whole set has been abysmal”, while a fifth remarked: “Is Kevin a comedian? Because he just told a non funny monologue and I didn’t laugh once. #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.”

A sixth posted: “Kevin Finn didn’t even attempt to write a 5 minute act, in however many weeks his audition was.

"That audition act is all he thought he needed, to get from the audition, to the final. I’m so embarrassed, and I don’t even know him #BGT.”

The viewers watching from home weren’t alone in their disappointment, as Simon Cowell pressed his red buzzer during Kevin’s performance.

Afterwards, Simon told the hopeful: “I’m sorry I buzzed, however, like I said before, we feed off the audience.

'It's just not fair' rant Britain's Got Talent viewers as they slam Simon Cowell over brutal move

“When a comedian is working, you can feel it in about ten seconds. Without being rude, the audition felt like it went on forever.

“It didn’t start well, the end maybe was better but honestly, you’re going to be disappointed I think when you watch this back because you’re better than that.”

Fellow judge Bruno Tonioli also offered constructive criticism to the comedian.

He said: “Simon has a point, I know, we’ve all been there.

“Your timing tonight wasn’t quite as accurate in delivering the punchlines. He’s absolutely right, you feel it when it lands.
