And Simon, 64, did nothing to dismiss the claims when Bruno, 68, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon sat down with Good Morning Britain‘s Richard Arnold without him.

Richard, 54, pointed out the Simon was missing from the gang and Amanda, 53, claimed he was off getting a massage instead.

During Tuesday night’s live show fans insisted they spotted a clash between Simon and Bruno.

After act Ace Clvrk performed a Billie Eilish track, Simon made it clear he disapproved of Bruno’s feedback.

Bruno told Ace: “You took a huge, huge risk tonight, that was a very, very difficult song to do. You were clever enough to use your middle range, which is where you are strong at. You made it work for you. So you succeeded.”

When it was Simon’s turn, he said: “Bruno, you said it was a risk, what did you mean?”

Bruno started to explain that it was because it is usually a female song, but Simon interjected saying: “I don’t understand what you are saying.”

Rushing to comment, one viewer wrote on social media: “Simon absolutely SHUTTING Bruno down.”

A second said: “Ace was amazing and bruno was giving him a compliment!! why did simon shut bruno down like that??”

While a third added:  “Simon was so f****** rude to Bruno then, he might be annoying but no reason to talk to him like that.”

Bruno later fuelled the claims himself when he insisted dogs are treated better than him on the show.

Discussing The Trickstars – a dog act which made the live semi-final shows – Bruno said: “The dogs are so well looked after.”

He added to the : “There is a huge production. They are very well taken care of. They are protected all the time. The sound levels are brought down at different times so they’re not made to feel stressed.

“They are actually looked after better than me. They get better dressing rooms!”
