PAULA Lane only joined Emmerdale earlier this year, and yet her character has certainly made her mark on the dales ever since.
She has now played the role of Ella Forster since January but she's no stranger to ITV viewers.

Before her new acting soap part, Paula, 38, was best known for her role as Kylie Platt on Coronation Street.
She played the husband of David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) from 2010 until her character was killed off in 2016.
But away from Emmerdale, she has a very interesting life off-screen too,

Paula is married to childhood sweetheart Tom Shaw, 37, whom she met whilst studying performing arts at Huddersfield Tech at the age of 17-years-old.

Tom is also known for his wide variety of roles in many of the countries biggest programmes such as Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and The Inbetweeners.
Just after Paula made her exit from the cobbles, Tom popped up as he played the former care home buddy of Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) in 2017 and 2018.
In May 2014, the duo originally tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at Leeds Cathedral and Paula recently took to Instagram to celebrate their 10-year wedding anniversary.
Posting a selection of throwback snaps, she praised her husband as they marked the huge milestone.

Secret Pregnancy

Paula shares two children with her actor husband.
Her first period of absence from Coronation Street came when the duo welcomed their now nine-year-old son Arthur in December 2014.
This was followed by their daughter Penny Grace, now seven, in July of 2016.
Following her second pregnancy, Paula did not return to the longest-running UK soap and the last episode she appeared in was on 20 July 2016.

Although she appears on Emmerdale, the actress is may be well used to living in cottages by now.
She now calls West Yorkshire her home and her abode comes in the form of her own delightful looking cottage.
The house boasts a stunning wood burning fireplace, complete with a chimney and a tudor-style stone surrounding.
She regularly shows off her beautiful house, complete with cottage-style windows to her many followers on Instagram.
