THE Great British Sewing Bee fans had a big complaint after the second instalment of the 2024 competition aired last night.
The tenth series of the beloved BBC sewing competition kicked off last week, and fans are unimpressed by the show's altered format, already begging for changes.
In this week's episode, the remaining contestants battled against each other for a chance to come one step closer to being crowned Britain's best home sewer.
Judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young give the amateur sewers three creative briefs to work on each week on The Great British Sewing Bee.
This week's brief included creating a pattern for a winter sportswear staple, the half-zip fleece and making a new outfit from cricket whites and protection gear.
During the made-to-measure challenge, the contestants selected a country to make an outfit for an international sporting event.

However, as the latest instalment rolled out with Ghosts star Kiell Smith-Bynoe helming the show, fans weren’t pleased with how long the contestants were given to finish their masterpieces.
Viewers noted that for a second week running, the BBC competition saw the sewers run out of time, resulting in a wonky zip, an unfinished hem and an ill-fitting waistband.
Fans at home were convinced that the reason for such shoddy work was due to a lack of time.
Viewers took to X and expressed that the 90-minute set time sewers were given to finish the creations just wasn't enough.
One user wrote: "Just catching up on the #SewingBee. Wish they gave the contestants more time - rather than bemoaning the garment isn’t finished/rushed."
A second user added: "So many garments must be binned as they won’t be wearable or fixable. Just increase the time given @sewingbee Loving @kfRedhot as new host."
"Is it just me or are the challenges on #SewingBee getting very complicated for such an early stage in the competition?" another viewer quizzed.
Someone else added: "They need to up the time. I’m not impressed #sewingbee #gbsb".
A fifth wrote: "Sad to say I'm not impressed by #sewingbee so far. The new host looks lost. The editing is very poor.
"Too much quick switching between contestants. Worst of all, most of the contestants don't appear to be able to sew. They're not given nearly enough time to complete anything."
Other fans of the BBC sewing competition were convinced that contestants had a longer time to carry out their work in previous seasons as someone penned: "I swear they have reduced the time! #gbsb #sewingbee."
Another user followed it with: "Oh no, #sewingbee seems to be going down the Bake Off route and making the tasks impossible.
“If no one finishes in time, it’s because there wasn’t enough time!"
Last week, as series ten began, viewers were left furious just minutes into the opening episode.
At the start of the episode, viewers were shown several sneak peeks to get a sense of what to expect from the latest series.

However, this did not appear to have the desired effect, as fans were left infuriated after being shown a number of outfits created by contestants.
The Great British Sewing Bee airs Tuesdays on BBC One at 9pm and is available to stream on iPlayer.
