BGT thrown into chaos as semi finalist forced to stop and re-start performance after blunder
BRITAIN’S Got Talent semi-finalist Matteo Fraziano faced disaster during his live performance as a mishap forced him to stop his act.
The Italian shadow artist took to the stage during Tuesday’s semi final of the ITV competition.
Adding to the stress of performing for the judges and public, Matteo found himself in a spot of bother at the very beginning of his performance.
The performer’s much-needed torch blew out, requiring a replacement to be brought onto the stage.
Continuing on, the overall act included shadows of Eminem, Simon Cowell and Batman.
Matteo also got co-presenter Declan Donnelly involved, as they re-enacted the classic pasta scene from Lady and the Tramp.

Afterwards, the judges were full of praise for Matteo’s efforts.
Amanda Holden told him: “Matteo, it is a unique talent that you have.
“As I watched you start with the torch and everything else and reflecting back on the show so far, I just thought ‘what a proper night of variety. What a proper night of a mix of talent we’ve got here.’
“I absolutely loved that.”
Fellow judge Bruno Tonioli added: “Really funny, very original, well done, great act.”
Meanwhile, Alesha Dixon had a contrasting view as she shared: “You are super, super talented and I loved your audition but I have to be honest, it didn’t really set me on fire tonight.
“It just left me feeling a little bit flat - I love that you involved the boys. I don’t know, I just wasn’t feeling it tonight, I’m so sorry.”
Head judge Simon Cowell said: “I thought it was silly, childish and brilliant at the same time.
“For you to recover - I thought the whole thing was just not going to happen at the beginning - you really picked yourself up quickly after that. So, good for you.”
