Peter Andre lands huge acting role in ‘gritty’ new TV series

PETER Andre has landed an exiting new acting role in an upcoming TV series.
The 51-year-old has been busy carving out his new career over the last few years and was recently seen in his first film role.

And dad-of-five Pete will jet off next month to shoot scenes for a new Channel 5 drama, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
An insider said: "Pete will fly out to Cyprus in June to start filming his latest role.
"It's a gritty Channel 5 thriller and he's really excited to get to work on it.
"Pete's been working hard on his acting career and he's got a lot more projects coming up."

Earlier this month the trailer dropped for Pete's first film role in movie Bullet, in which he plays a character called Flux.
In the teaser clip Pete's character can be seen squaring up to a thug in an abandoned boxing gym.
Both men are back by heavies, suggesting they could be crime bosses.
Singer Pete is best known for his iconic hit Mysterious Girl but he previously revealed he actually studied acting before making it as a pop star.

He told : "Acting is something I studied as a kid and I love doing something that combines acting, singing and dancing.
"Back in the old days, if you wanted to be an actor you had to learn how to sing and dance and if you wanted to be a singer you also learned how to act and dance."
Peter Andre shares new glimpse of baby daughter Arabella Rose
Pete and wife Emily recently welcomed baby girl Arabella.
He is also dad to Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, from his marriage to Katie Price and shares Amelia, 10, Theo, seven, with Emily.
And Pete confessed he's yet to call his latest addition by her name.
Writing in his column for , Pete said: "Arabella is now seven weeks old – where has the time gone?
"I still haven’t called Arabella by her name. I absolutely love it and she really suits it – but I still call her 'bubba'."
