Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ who Ella is visiting in care home – with link to legendary villain
ELLA Forster has been under suspicion ever since she arrived in Emmerdale, but now fans think they have worked something out about the personal life she works so hard to keep hidden.
The GP receptionist, played by Paula Lane, arrived in the Dales at the start of the year.
She has been dating Liam Cavanagh, but has completely avoided talking about her family and past.
When she was evasive about Liam visiting her house, viewers began to wonder what secrets she was hiding.
It soon became clear that one of them was her struggle with homelessness, as she was seen bedding down for the night in her car.
Work colleague Manpreet Sharma discovered her there during a morning jog and told Liam Ella didn't have anywhere to stay.

He kindly suggested she could temporarily move into the spare room at Tenants.
But there seemed to be more the receptionist was hiding, after she snapped at Mandy when the well-meaning woman asked about her family after seeing Ella clutching an old photograph.
In one of the most recent episodes Ella went to visit an unidentified lady at a care home.
She sat with her and went through an old family album where it became clear the lady was suffering from dementia.

“Do we look at this every time?” the woman asked her as Ella replied: “We do. We love it.”
And when the woman asked Ella how long she’d been visiting, she told her: “A while. You’ve always got me.”
As Ella went to fetch the woman a drink, she returned with a small drink to find the woman remembering something tragic.
“Were we once very sad about something?” she asked.
Ella told her: “We were yeah, but we got through it, didn’t we?”
Their conversation was interrupted when Manpreet spotted them talking as she came in the nursing home to visit another resident.
Ella panicked and begged the woman not to tell Liam about the incident, but refused to reveal who the old lady was.
Manpreet had a sister who is well known by Emmerdale fans for being an evil serial killer, and viewers now suspect Ella's mysterious past has something to do with the spate of killings that happened in the village.
Some have speculated that the woman she visits is her grandma, and that her mum was murdered by Meena Jutla.
One person wondered: "Manpreet catching Ella... is that a clue about who this story will involve?"
