A CORONATION Street star has left fans open-mouthed with an unrecognisable picture from a blockbuster film alongside Johnny Depp.
Sleepy Hollow was released in 1999 and saw A-lister Johnny play a police constable sent from New York City to a village to investigate a series of murders by a mysterious Headless Horseman.
The cast also included Christina Ricci, Miranda Richardson, Michael Gambon and Christopher Lee, but Coronation Street fans were surprised to learn that Tony Maudsley was also in it.
Tony, 56, joined the ITV soap in 2020 as undertaker George Shuttleworth, and has become a firm favourite.
While the actor is probably best known for his role as hairdresser Kenneth Du Beke in hit ITV comedy Benidorm, he has had a long career which includes work on the big screen.
Taking to his Instagram page this week, Tony shared two throwback snaps from his time on the set of Sleepy Hollow, and fans had to do a double take.

Tony was dressed in period costume with dark, scraggly hair next to his dressing room.
He captioned it: "SLEEPY HOLLOW - 1998" before adding another snap of him driving a carriage with Johnny hanging out the window.
The posts prompted a wave of responses from his Corrie co-stars and fans.
Sue Cleaver, who plays his on-screen partner Eileen Grimshaw, joked: "You still look like that on a monday."
