Bargain Hunt’s Roo Irvine reveals heartbreaking double death that turned her life on its head
ROO Irvine has revealed a heart-breaking double death turned her life on its head.
The Bargain Hunt presenter has opened up on the tragic family deaths on her very own website.
Roo, who is a fan-favourite on the BBC One show, revealed they took place in 2013 during a short space of time.
Ultimately it led to her reevaluate her life and career.
Writing about the horrific experience, Roo said: "Kilcreggan Antiques came about quite by (bad) luck when suddenly, and unexpectedly, in 2013, my wonderful Dad passed away.
"I was heartbroken and devastated."

"Then, just three weeks later, my husband Mark also lost his father to a long battle with cancer."
Roo, 32, became a household name when she joined Bargain Hunt back in 2018.
She continued: "We walked away from our senior corporate jobs and focused on taking care of our widowed mothers."
"I'd always loved antiques and had developed a keen eye, so my husband suggested we 'go for it' and Kilcreggan Antiques was born. Out of some of my darkest days came a sliver of light. Fate? "
Roo has been married to her husband, Mark Irvine, who is also an antiques dealer, since 2012.
The couple live together in Scotland with their two Maine Coon cats.
Previously, husband Mark has publicly shared that he is "lucky" to be married to the TV personality.
In his X( formerly Twitter) bio, he penned a sweet tribute to his wife, which reads: "Semi-retired (yeah right !) married to BBC TV Antique expert @RooIrvine - very lucky, blessed, and I know it."
"Poppa to 2 gorgeous Maine Coon girls."
