EASTENDERS fans have said farewell to Whitney Dean after a 16-year stint on Albert Square.
The character, portrayed by Shona McGarty, made her exit on Wednesday night's episode (May 22).
Why is Whitney Dean leaving EastEnders?
It's been a whirlwind week for Whitney in Walford.
She gave birth to her baby Dolly during her hen do and just days later decided to go ahead with her wedding to Zack despite having a newborn.
However, Zack was struggling to keep the secret that he had slept with Lauren Branning.
But the truth came out when foster daughter Britney blurted it during the couple's vows.

Heartbroken Whitney immediately called off the wedding and dumped Zack.
However, she confessed last night (Wednesday, May 22) to her other ex-fiancé, Callum Highway, that she knew she’d end up forgiving Zack.
Bianca called her a pushover when it comes to men which caused Whitney to break down.
Although Callum tried to give her some reassurance, Whitney decided it was time to make a huge decision.

She then announced she was moving away with Britney and baby Dolly for a fresh start.
Where is Whitney Dean from EastEnders going?
Actress Shona McGarty announced her exit from EastEnders last July.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun on Sunday, Shona shared: “I have decided to spread my wings and will be leaving EastEnders. I have loved my years in the show.
“I have been trusted with some incredible storylines and have made amazing friendships — and family — which will endure.”
Her character Whitney made her Walford debut back in 2008 as part of Bianca Jackson’s family.
Throughout her time on the BBC One show, she has been involved in several hard-hitting storylines.
This includes meeting her biological family, coming to terms with having been abused by Bianca’s partner Tony King (Chris Coghill) and later being exploited by vile pimp Rob Grayson (Jody Latham).
Prior to meeting Zack, she was previously married to Lee Carter (Danny-Boy Hatchard).
Whitney had also been engaged to Callum Highway (Tony Clay), before Callum came out the night before their big day.
