GEORDIE Shore is gearing up for its biggest trip abroad yet as the cast jet off to an exotic destination.
Bosses are keen to go all out for the new series and have decided a group jaunt to South East Asia is the way to do it, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
The latest drama-filled run, which was filmed in Cyprus, breathed fresh life into the series and it is hoped a Thai trip could be even more dramatic.
A source said: "The Geordie cast are jetting off to Thailand in the coming days to film the show's biggest overseas cast trip ever.
"They're blowing the budget on this big Asian jaunt to kick off the new series, and it's going to look gorgeous on camera as well as creating the perfect sunshine backdrop for lots of drama.
"Bosses really wanted to kick off the new series with a bang as there have been several big high profile departures with Marnie, Casey, Aaron, and of course, Charlotte leaving, but the show is still a massive priority for MTV - especially globally where it's huge on paramount plus - so they are still investing big money into it."

There's been lots of reshuffling behind the scenes amid some major departures in recent weeks.
Aaron Chalmers is the latest name to bow out with the MMA fighter choosing to focus on his family instead.
A source said: “Aaron’s son Oakley has a rare condition and is undergoing surgery soon which clashes with filming, and Aaron wants to be there for his boy.
"He’s putting family first and doesn’t want any distractions or to be away filming.

"He’s not closing the door on returning to Geordie Shore in the future but right now, his son’s health and recovery is the most important thing. All that matters is being there for Oakley.”
Meanwhile, Charlotte Crosby bounced back from her feud with Marnie Simpson in the most recent series to land a major role on the Aussie version of the show.
The Geordie OG reportedly beat out interest from her former co-stars to land a hosting role which has led to increased tensions behind the scenes.
A source exclusively told The Sun: “Charlotte being announced as the host of Aussie Shore has really ruffled feathers amongst the other cast mates.
"A few of them were in talks for the gig but didn’t get it, so it’s got their back up.
"They feel like Charlotte hasn’t even been loyal to the brand by quitting the show again while filming the last series, yet she gets all the biggest opportunities."
Around the same time as the announcement, Charlotte's rival Marnie and her husband Casey announced they were quitting after becoming unhappy with how they were portrayed last time out.
