Hollyoaks co-stars secretly dating as they enjoy romantic weekends away – months after actress’ split from rugby player

HOLLYOAKS co-stars Ruby O’Donnell and Nathaniel Dass are 'secretly dating' after Ruby's split from her rugby player ex.

The actors - who both feature on the Channel 4 soap - have grown closer since Ruby and Sam Halsall broke up last year.

Ruby, 23, has played Peri Lomax in Hollyoaks for a decade while Nathaniel joined the show as Dillon Ray a year ago.

Both stars aroused suspicions from fans after they posted similar stories of weekend trips away on Instagram.

Just last weekend they posted snaps from the Lake District.

Ruby - who also went on a romantic trip to Paris - has been teasing fans that she's dating again following her split with ruby player Sam after four years but has kept their identity under wraps.

Nathaniel and Ruby were recently spotted leaving the Hollyoaks set in Liverpool by a fan who stopped them for a picture.

The Sun contacted Hollyoaks for comment.

Nathaniel's character has recently been embroiled in the controversial conversion therapy storyline as he battles to save schoolboy Lucas Hay from the clutches of headteacher Carter Shepard (David Ames).

Meanwhile, Hollyoaks stars Niamh Blackshaw and Angus Castle Doughty previously revealed they are dating in real life.
