SOCCER Aid’s World XI is looking a little sparse at the moment with just ten players announced for next month’s big match, compared with England’s squad of 20.
But The Sun can reveal a very exciting star has joined their line-up.
Top Boy actor Micheal Ward has been signed up to join stars including Usain Bolt, Martin Compston, Tommy Fury and Maisie Adam at Stamford Bridge on June 9.
A source added: “Micheal is a brilliant footballer and will challenge some of the England pros like Jack Wilshere, Jermain Defoe, and Theo Walcott.
“He is best known for his role as Jamie in Top Boy but fans might be surprised about how decent Micheall is with a ball at his feet.”
Micheal, who also starred in football film The Beautiful Game, has bragged about his footballing prowess, saying: “I’m decent.

“I feel like I’m at a good enough level in football.”
Earlier this year The Sun revealed how Ellie Goulding was in talks to play the charity match’s half time show.
A source said: “Ellie is a massive Soccer Aid fan and has wanted to get involved for years.

“Previously she has been in talks about performing at the halftime show but her schedule made it impossible.
“This summer’s match could be on the cards, though, and her team are currently negotiating with Soccer Aid to try to make it happen.
“As well as performing, they want to see if Ellie would get on to the pitch and play.
“She is a decent player and is fighting fit so she wouldn’t need any training.
“It might be too much for her to play as well as perform, but the hope is she could have 15 minutes on the pitch in the second half, if time permits.”
Ellie would be joining a raft of stars who have performed over the years at the match, which has raised £90million for Unicef since the first game back in 2006.
Previously Soccer Aid co-founder Robbie Williams has played the half-time show, as have Tom Grennan, and Rita Ora.
