STRICTLY Come Dancing pro Katya Jones has lamented the modern dating world, complaining that no-one chats her up.

The Russian dancer, who is 35 today, who split from hubby and fellow pro Neil, 42, in 2019, has revealed that dating apps are rubbish when it comes to meeting men.

She said: “I one hundred per cent think it’s a big issue that no-one speaks to each other in bars.

“People just don’t connect anymore with each other.

"People don’t really talk much.”

“I don’t think dating apps are the way to meet people.

"I’d love for someone to just come up to me and talk and converse and actually connect.”

It comes as Katya, who was speaking at the launch of Eighty-8 Nail Studio, in London, on Thursday, revealed her worries about balancing her career with finding love and having children.

She said: “There’s two sides to it. Females of our age can have careers and can pursue our passions.

“We can do what we love, be happy and fulfilled on our own and that’s beautiful.

“However, on the other side, it doesn’t stop our maternal clock or our ageing process, unfortunately.

"So how do you balance those two things?

"Here I am, at 35, having an amazing career.

"But thinking of the future, this is the reality of my life.”

Katya was talking to her  friend and British Olympian snowboarder Aimee Fuller, 32, for her Monday Mile podcast.
