He then delivers the motor to the London Palladium’s red carpet.

Simon bought the gleaming red sports car with his first windfall three decades ago.

The scenes will play out on Sunday’s show as the audition rounds continue on ITV1.

This will see other hopefuls try to impress for a place in the live semi-finals.

It all begins when Trixy, an electrical engineer and dad of two, promises to create a “magical moment in time”.

He then borrows BGT judge Bruno Tonioli’s watch and proceeds to unravel the elaborate trick using 50 photographs from Simon’s life.

Trixy reveals the picture of the motor, and Simon exclaims: “That’s one of my favourite-ever cars.”

The boss is then reunited with the set of wheels outside the Palladium and is so revved up he plants a smacker on the bonnet.
