‘That’s not him!’ gasp The One Show fans as they’re seriously distracted by Harry Potter star Tom Felton’s appearance

Outside of the wizard world, he filmed independent horror movies, including The Disappeared (2008), Night Wolf (2010), and The Apparition (2012)

THE One Show fans were left seriously distracted by an iconic Harry Potter villain’s striking change of appearance.

36-year-old Tom Felton was a child star that everyone loved to hate in the hit J.K Rowling adaptations, which followed a group of young wizards trying to navigate life through the magically scary Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

In the latest episode of The One Show, hosted by Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas, viewers were shocked when they saw that Draco Malfoy star Tom Felton had been welcomed on as a guest.

Tom played the part of Draco in all eight Harry Potter movies, which were released from 2001 to 2011.

Outside of the wizard world, he filmed independent horror movies, including The Disappeared (2008), Night Wolf (2010), and The Apparition (2012).

Last year, the star was seen with his on-screen pal Josh Herdman, who played Gregory Goyle in the award-winning movies.

Now, as he sat alongside actress Meg Bellamy on the BBC sofa, the former child star looked unrecognisable while discussing his new theatre project.

Inside No 9 creators, Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton were also on the coach to push their "strictly limited" Inside No 9 West end play ahead of the final series’ launch.

After Alex introduced Tom to the viewers, he went on to speak to the hosts about his new play, A Child Of Science, which is about the discovery of IVF in the UK.

He informed the viewers at home: “The character I’m playing is a geneticist who really was the starter but didn’t manage to go much further without introducing the lovely Gene Purdie and Doctor Who pioneered it, not overnight but over decades of research with hundreds of courageous women.

"It’s an incredible story which I knew very little about.”

As he gave insights into his new theatre play, viewers took to X and expressed how they were left distracted by the Harry Potter sensation's new look years after he was last seen in the films.

A third cruelly swiped: “Tom Felton looks knackered. Like a pint of milk left outside on a piping hot summers day. #TheOneShow”

While a fourth viewer gushed: “@TomFelton is really fit.”

Tom’s play A Child Of Science will be in theatres from June 5 - July 6 at the Bristol Old Vic.

The theatre’s describes the play as follows: “Bruntwood Prize-winning writer Gareth Farr’s brilliant new play tells their pioneering story and those of the army of women from all over the UK whose immense bravery helped them achieve the impossible – to create human life in vitro.

“Faced with fierce criticism and hostility and hounded by the media for “playing God”, trials were kept largely under wraps. But their determination to give hope to the thousands of families struggling to conceive eventually led to one of the most remarkable medical breakthroughs of our time: the birth of a baby girl and the creation of IVF, a procedure which has supported the birth of over 12 million babies worldwide over the last 45 years.”

Elsewhere, The One Show's Lucy Siegle recently issued a health update to worried BBC fans after her hospital dash.

The reporter revealed how she was left in "excruciating pain" after developing kidney stones.

The environmental reporter explained: "Spent mon night with excruciating pain in A&E - large kidney stone causing havoc.

"I’m a prodigious stone former apparently (at last found something to excel at).
