‘What’s he doing there?’ scream Love Island fans as Luca Bish rubs shoulders with A-listers at Met Gala
The ex fishmonger has stumped his followers
LOVE Island star Luca Bish has left fans scratching their heads after he was caught on camera at this year’s Met Gala.
Luca, 24, was filmed chomping on a piece of chicken as he partied the night away at this year’s A-list event in New York.
The 2022 Love Island contestant appeared to be dressed in a casual black T-shirt as he let his hair down at the official after party.
But fans have been left wondering how the former fishmonger finalist even bagged himself an invite.
The Met Gala guest list was brimming with huge names, including Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Kim Kardashian, Sydney Sweeney, Demi Moore and Cardi B.
Ariana Grande even took to the stage for a surprise performance.
One onlooker said: “I couldn’t believe it when I spotted Luca there in the same room as so many huge A-list celebs.
“I said to myself, ‘What’s he doing here?’ and thought it was a lookalike at first.
“But then I saw on social media that he was actually there. So random!”
Luca is best known as the Brighton-born fishmonger who fell for the daughter of retired footballer Michael Owen in Love Island.
He dated Gemma Owen for three months after they left the villa, but they called it quits in November 2022.
Last year, Luca took part in Celebrity MasterChef and made it all the way to the final. He lost out to Go Compare star Wynne Evans.
He also visited Los Angeles in 2023, telling his fans he was there for a “PR trip”.
Alongside a snap of himself in front of the Hollywood sign, Luca told his fans: “How else was I gonna prove to my Nan I went to LA 🇺🇸😂. Insane views from the Hollywood Sign, feels surreal being up there!”
But there is no other suggestion of him making Hollywood connections that could lead to a Met Gala invite.
Meanwhile, although she didn’t attend the Met Gala, Luca’s ex Gemma is still enjoying the high life.
Despite her swimwear line bombing, Gemma has continued to enjoy the trappings of her father’s former career as a professional footballer.
Last month, Gemma shared a glimpse at the rolling grounds surrounding her dad’s £4million family home.
Gemma has lived in the sprawling property since 2021 with her dad Michael, mum Louise Bonsall, and three siblings Emily May, 16, Jessica, 14, and James Michael, 18.
