Good Morning Britain fans flood Ofcom with complaints after branding Susanna Reid a ‘disgrace’
GOOD Morning Britain fans flooded Ofcom with complaints after branding Susanna Reid a ‘disgrace’.
This came after the hosts interviewed MP George Galloway following his win at the Rochdale by-election in March.
Afterwards Prime Minister Rishi Sunak took to the steps of Downing Street to express his disapproval at Galloway's views on the Hamas terror attack at a music festival in Israel.
Rishi said: "He [Galloway] dismisses the horror of what happened on October 7th, who glories Hezbollah and was endorsed by Nick Griffin."
Susanna and Richard asked Galloway about his stance on Sunak's claims.
Galloway said: "I don't dismiss the horror of what happened on October 7th, it's completely baseless. I don't glorify Hezbollah and I wasn't endorsed by Nick Griffin."

He also stated that Susanna and Richard hadn't done their research before having him on the show.
Fans were outraged, claiming Susanna cut off George and pressed on the same questions he felt were too baseless to answer. They also didn't like the way she spoke to him.
During the interview, George said he was being treated as though he was on trial due to the questioning. He emphasised that he was elected, not on trial.
Viewers of Good Morning Britain claimed that Susanna and Richard conducted themselves unprofessionally and did not give their guest a chance to speak.
One user commented: "These 2 people are not interviewing George Galloway: they are goading him. Susanna, especially, is dreadful. Why not let your guest speak?"
Another added: "Susanna is a disgrace."
Whilst a third penned: "When George Galloway said the NHS was in crisis the camera caught Susanna Reid smirking. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING.."
"This is shocking and outrageous... their hatred and utter contempt for Galloway is glaringly obvious and they are supposed to be unbiased presenters? They should be dismissed for such unprofessionalism and pure bile...," wrote a fourth.
And a fifth added: "Have to say, the way Richard and Susanna conducted that interview was just embarrassing. Really un-professional.
Susanna recently risked a feud with Kim Kardashian after she took a dig at her Met Gala outfit.
The 53-year-old presenter told Good Morning Britain viewers that Kim looked "uncomfortable" and her outfit "was not working" shortly after the show kicked off at 6am today.
Over footage of the mum being assisted on the green carpet in New York, Susanna said from the ITV studio: "These aren’t great pics though, are they?
"When you have to have somebody to lift up your dress as you climb up a few steps, I’m not sure that the dress is working."
