THE second season of hit US crime drama The Cleaning Lady is soon coming to UK screens.
It is based on the Argentine series La Chica que Limpia, which aired for 13 episodes in 2017.
Although the show premiered in the US in January 2022, UK viewers finally got to watch season one beginning in March of this year.
Starting on March 11, episodes were released weekly.
Following rave reviews, it has now been confirmed that season two will premiere on Sky Witness at 9pm on Monday, May 20.
The plot follows Thony (Élodie Yung), a Cambodian-Filipino former surgeon living and working in Las Vegas, now in the US on an expired visa.

Her young son, Luca, has a rare and life-threatening medical disorder requiring a cutting-edge bone marrow treatment which is only available in Las Vegas.
In the meantime, Thony makes a living as a cleaning service worker.
However, her life turns upside down after witnessing a murder committed by criminal Arman Morales (Adan Canto) and being discovered by him.
Arman offers Thony a job as a cleaner and doctor in his criminal organisation.

She begins a double life, keeping secrets from her family and trying to evade the law.
The cast also includes Oliver Hudson as Garrett Miller, an FBI agent who goes after Thony in his mission to take down Arman.
While season two is just arriving in the UK, the crime drama has also been renewed for a third season which began airing in the US in March and is ongoing.
It comes as the show was hit by a real-life tragedy in January with the death of star Adan Canto aged just 42, of appendiceal cancer.
The renowned Mexican actor also appeared in shows such as Designated Survivor and The Following, as well as the X-Men film, Days of Future Past.
Adan’s deteriorating health meant he spent some time away from the show.
Although he planned to return to The Cleaning Lady, this would sadly never come to pass.
