Strictly star Katya Jones admits fear she’s running out of time to have children as she focuses on BBC show

STRICTLY star Katya Jones has admitted that she's worried she's running out of time to have children.

The dancer, who turns 35 later this month, is currently single.

Katya hinted that she's 'happy and fulfilled' on her own, but being single does make her think about her 'maternal clock'.

She recently said on Aimee Fuller's Monday Mile podcast: 'Yes. Modern females of our age, we can have careers, pursue our passions. 

"Be happy and fulfilled on our own.

"However, on the other side, it doesn't stop our maternal clock or our ageing process, unfortunately.

"So how do you balance those two things?"

Just last month Katya confirmed her relationship status during a Q&A on Instagram.

One fan asked her: "Is there a special man in your life?";

Katya, who joined Strictly Come Dancing in 2016, bluntly replied: "NO."

Back in July 2023, The Sun exclusively revealed that the beauty was dating property mogul William Abbotts.

The pair had enjoyed cosy dinner dates near his home.

A source said: “Katya and Will have been seeing one another for a little while.

“He runs a successful business and it is clear he really likes Katya.

“Katya’s schedule will become incredibly busy when Strictly starts again this autumn so they’re not rushing into anything and are just having fun going out on dates together.

“Katya is a real catch and it’s not hard to see why Will is so taken with her.”

But just three months later the two decided to go their separate ways.

A source close to the Russian-born star, who was paired with actor Nigel Harman, 50, in Strictly last year, said: “The union ran its course.

“Katya is single and focusing on the dance competition.

"She knows she has a strong chance of making it to the final this year.

"She doesn’t want any distractions.”

Katya was previously married to Strictly dancer Neil Jones for six years.

Neil is now engaged to Love Island star Chyna Mills and they share a daughter called Havana.
