LOVE Island star Sanam Harrinanan hit back at a fan who accused her and Kai Fagan of setting up their engagement announcement.
The winners shared their happy news on social media this week after 14 months together.
They met on the winter series of Love Island in 2023 after Sanam entered the Casa Amor villa and stole Kai from Olivia Hawkins.
On Monday Kai shared the special moment he popped the question to Sanan while on a romantic date.
The couple, who moved in together last June, enjoyed punting.
After she said yes, they returned to a hotel where Kai surprised Sanam with a room full of balloons.

One set spelled out the words 'yes, she said'.
The hotel staff also arranged for a card congratulating the couple on their happy engagement.
The couple were flooded with comments from delighted followers when they shared the sweet video.
But one fan remarked: "Confused about the balloons she said yes.

"They were a surprise how did he know she would say yes. Lol she defo knew x"
Sanam shot back: "No I didn’t know what he had planned but we’ve spoken about marriage and a future many times so it’s not rocket science for him to know I would say yes whenever he did pop the question.
"Hope that clears up the confusion"
Kai was a former PE teacher and Sanam was a social worker when they competed on Love Island.
They haven't returned to their former jobs full time - with Sanam insisting she will do social work "on the side".
Sanam told The Sun: "I won't give up my job - they told me I can come back to work. I'm going to continue to do my social work on the side."
Kai, who was formerly a PE teacher, previously admitted he "wants to do the same things" but is keen to "find a different capacity" to do so.
