HOLLYOAKS star Terri Dwyer looked incredible as she stepped out in London for a night at the movies with A-listers.
Almost 28 years since we were first introduced to the feisty Ruth Osbourne on the Channel 4 soap, 50-year-old Terri has barely aged a day as she stepped out for the big event.
Rebel Wilson, Meera Syal and Charlotte Gainsbourg were among the attendees at the big event for The Almond And The Seahorse.
Looking sharp in a silver top, black trousers and blazer, Terri beamed as she was snapped on the red carpet.
Terri first shot to fame in the UK when she was cast as Ruth in Hollyoaks, a character she later described as someone who “engages her mouth before her brain”.
Auditioning for the soap for fun after driving her friend there, she found her life changed forever when she was given the job.

Officially arriving in Chester in 1996, the character of Ruth became central to storylines including a lesbian affair with Jasmine Bates (played by Elly Fairman).
She appeared in 485 episodes of the show, as well as a collection of the ‘late night’ special episodes that featured darker storylines.
Her character had a short-lived marriage to Kurt Benson (Jeremy Edwards), which ended after he had an affair with her step-sister, Kate (Natasha Symms).
Ruth later was seen in a tumultuous relationship with Lewis Richardson, but things got explosive in 1999 when she was nearly killed in a nautical test facility.

At the turn of the Millenium, her character was left fighting for her life after Finn’s bus exploded in an arson attack.
After that, things got more complicated when she had an abortion, and lied to Lewis about having a miscarriage, triggering him hitting her when he discovered the truth.
She left the show in 2001, with Terri saying at the time she had “got bored” of playing the character.
Ruth was seen heading to London for a new life after Lewis became obsessed after their split and almost killed her, before killing himself.
However she would return multiple times in the seven years after, including appearing in a 2008 episode where Ruth appeared for her father’s funeral.
She’s also never ruled out a potential return.
Now a proud mum to two boys, Terri has been keeping busy with a series of low budget movies including 2022’s The Stranger In Our Bed and 2023’s Bolan’s Shoes alongside Mark Lewis Jones and Timothy Spall.
