HAIRY Bikers star Si King shared a poignant message to fans following the success of his latest book.
The Hairy Dieters: Fast and Fresh was released on Thursday (April 25), around two months after the death of co-author Dave Myers.
Dave sadly lost his battle with cancer on February 28 at the age of 66, with friends and family by his side.
Taking to Instagram to share his gratitude with 385,000 followers, Si, 57, wrote: “It’s just a massive thank you from me for all your support - and all the Hairy Bikers team, really, for all your support for Fast and Fresh.
“I’ve just had the news that we’re number one, not just in food and drink we’re number one in the bestsellers’ chart.
“Thank you for your continued support, it means such a great deal and particularly fitting at the moment.

“So, thanks so much, lots of love to you all.”
The Hairy Dieters scooped a National Book Award in 2012.
In winning, they fended off competition from the likes of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Dame Mary Berry and Gok Wan to name a few.
The pair met in 1992 and their first TV show aired in 2004.

Before becoming known for their culinary skills on telly, both Si and Dave had backgrounds in TV and film production.
In May 2022, Dave announced he had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy, having previously battled glaucoma and COVID-19.
Dave's final TV scenes came in March, with the duo's Go West series on BBC Two.
It saw the pair visit Dorset, where they took a trip to a watercress farm and met a blacksmith as he created a chef's knife.
After the credits came a tribute in honour of Dave, which read: "In loving memory of our friend, Dave Myers, 1957 - 2024."
Fans shared their grief for the late star on social media, with one writing: "The @HairyBikers Go West, bittersweet moment watching the final episode on @BBCiPlayer."
Another heartbroken viewer shared: "Watched the final episode of The Hairy Bikers Go West, last night. The end was very emotional for Si, even though he had no knowledge of what was around the corner. Dave, we thank you for your knowledge and great cooking. RIP".
"Just watched the final episode of the @HairyBikers Go West series… so glad that they had that time together and that Dave got to do some of those things he dreamt of doing (steam train driving for one). Got something in my eye and an appreciation for the little things in life", said a third.
