Top Gear fans convinced original line-up is reuniting for new show as presenters have boozy day out at the pub together
The trio shared the above video, sparking speculation they are set to join forces on screen once again
TOP Gear fans' minds raced into overdrive yesterday as the classic line-up of Hammond, May and Clarkson reunited.
Former BBC star Jeremy Clarkson filmed the trio enjoying a pint, along with friends including former racing driver and Top Gear host Tiff Needell.

The group, who recently wrapped their final Grand Tour special, looked happy and relaxed as they chatted outdoors.
Fans speculated that another TV project could be in the works.
One person commented on Jeremy's video: "A hint of another Grand Tour?"
Another said: "OK, hear me out, the coincidence of The Grand Tour ending and Top Gear ending at the same time maybe isn’t a coincidence?

"Perhaps the boys will come back to Top Gear and end it the way it should be ended, with these three at the helm.
"Maybe we’ll get a season or two of Top Gear? One can only dream this is what’s happening.
"I’d really hate to think that this next Grand Tour episode is the last we’ll see of our three favourite guys."
Back in February, Richard Hammond suggested Top Gear could return after the BBC shelved the long-running motoring programme following a serious accident in filming that saw presenter Freddie Flintoff badly injured.

Hammond told the : “Top Gear was on hiatus when we took it on so it’ll come back one day, although in what shape I don’t know.
“The decision to buy our next car is probably the most significant contribution we can make, as individuals, to the future, so we need to be informed."

He added: “As for shows like The Grand Tour, I don’t think the human desire for adventure is ever going to be sated.
“Maybe that’s the route it could take?”
Hammond presented Top Gear from 2002 to 2015, alongside Jeremy Clarkson and James May.
Despite the trio's huge popularity, a series of behind the scenes controversies involving Clarkson led the BBC to axe its longstanding host.

In a show of solidarity, Hammond and May followed him out of the door with the trio going on to sign a big money deal with Amazon to front their own motoring show, The Grand Tour.
Earlier this year they released their penultimate special, Sand Job - following the legendary Paris-Dakar rally route in cheap modified cars.
Addressing their decision to walk away from the franchise, Clarkson told The Times they were short of fresh ideas.
He said: “I’ve driven cars higher than anyone else and further north than anyone else.

As someone that has followed the famous trio since the early 2000’s, the thought of them returning to Top Gear fills me with excitement.
Whilst I was a huge fan of The Grand Tour, there were many things they weren't able to transfer over from their old show, such as Star In A Reasonably Priced Car and The Stig, Top Gear’s mysterious resident test driver.
When Clarkson, Hammond and May left the show in 2015, I always felt there was unfinished business, it came off the back of a fantastic series which included them making their own ambulances, one of my personal favourite ever episodes.
It would be interesting to see how the jokes and funny incidents that made the show so popular would be changed for this day and age. Certainly some things that were acceptable before may not be deemed appropriate now. However the chemistry between the three of them makes me believe this would not be a problem.

Earlier this month we revealed Flintoff has continued his working relationship with the BBC by signing an extended deal for his grass roots cricket show Field of Dreams.
The programme will have a third innings, which means Freddie will be working with the Corporation into 2026.
A TV insider said: “This shows that Freddie isn’t just happy to return to the show, which is very close to his heart, but also that he’s quite happy to continue working long-term on programmes for the Beeb.
“It’s understood that, in addition to making the third series, he’s also considering a string of other projects they have offered him, but he’s taking his time and considering them all carefully.”
