THIS Morning was pulled off the air as ITV brought viewers an urgent news bulletin.
ITV news presenter Nina Hossain explained the channel was "interrupting" its usual schedule.
Breaking news was delivered after Lorraine ended, and just before This Morning began.
It meant Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley's mid-morning show was late to air.
It comes after a man wielding a huge sword in the street has been pictured after "attacking people at random and two cops" in a terrifying rampage.
Horrifying videos from witnesses near Hainault Tube Station, east London, show the person clutching the huge blade as he prowled the streets.
