Coronation Street storyline ‘leaks’ as schedules reveal exactly when major show villain will return
It comes after savvy soap fans pinpointed the subject of his return plotline
CORONATION Street’s worst-ever show villain’s comeback has been inadvertently revealed in the telly schedules, fans have claimed.
Earlier this month, The Sun exclusively reported how the character – a sick sex trafficker – would be making a return to the Cobbles.
Now Nathan Curtis’ second Coronation Street stint could come as soon as next month.
The bad boy, played by Christopher Harper, 46, will be back on-screen in May according to TV guides for the ITV soap.
One loyal fan took to X to let slip how her Virgin Media online TV guide had penciled in his face-to-face with victim Bethany Platt for May 10.
They copied the message for that day’s soap preview which read: “Bethany comes face to face with her abuser, Glenda refuses to let George off the hook.
“Gemma is puzzled by Bernie’s behaviour, and Garry hopes for a reconciliation with Maria.”
This means fans may face just a fortnight’s wait for the explosive scenes.
‘Worst villain’
A source previously told The Sun of the character’s latest plotlines.
They said: “Nathan’s easily the worst villain Corrie’s ever produced.
“The grooming storyline was one of the soap’s most important. The hope is that revisiting it will boost the show.
“It’s a risk but it’s one that producers hope will pay off.”
Nathan first targeted Bethany, played by Lucy Fallon, 28, back in 2017.
He plied her with booze and drugs before abusing her in harrowing scenes.
Sarah Platt’s daughter then tried to escape after being raped by Nathan and his gang.
He then attempted to sell Gail Platt’s granddaughter into sex work abroad.
While Bethany’s attackers were jailed, she will soon discover that Nathan has been released.

Plot comeback
Savvy Corrie fans have already suspected the reason for Nathan’s return – as well as his next victim.
They claim that he could be linked to the disappearance of Lauren Bolton and, in fact, be the one that has groomed and kidnapped her.
The teen – who is played by actress Cait Fitton in the ITV soap – disappeared from her flat last month after receiving a shock visitor.
They are now convinced that Lauren, who had been working in the sex industry on OnlyFans at the time of her disappearance, could be one of his latest victims.
In the meantime, fan-favourite cafe-owner Roy Cropper has been charged with her murder and sent to prison.
