CHANNEL 4 has announced a major overhaul to a string of its hit shows - but there's a twist.
The broadcaster will be given some of its most beloved programmes in the schedule a new theme tune.
However, the move is only temporary and will take place from tonight for the next week.
Shows such as Channel 4 News, Gogglebox and Countdown will see their opening music be performed on a piano.
It's all part of bosses' attempts to promote the second series of The Piano, which stars Claudia Winkleman.
Gogglebox viewers tonight will hear Kodaline's Perfect World intro as a piano medley for the first time.

This Sunday's news bulletin music, originally composed by Alan Hawkshaw, will also get a Piano inspired remix.
Steve Holness and Pascal Wyse have given Countdown a toe-tapping piano tune which will play out from Monday at 2.10pm for the entire week.
Finally, Come Dine With Me: The Professionals will also receive a sprinkle of Piano magic.
Channel 4’s Chief Content Officer Ian Katz said: “The Piano is that rarest of things, a TV show that makes people feel better about the world after watching it than they did before.

Claudia Winkleman is back at the helm of the second series when it launches this Sunday at 9pm.

In a format twist to the first series the contestants will now be aware they're being watched.
