BBC NEWSREADER Martine Croxall has confirmed she will soon be returning to viewers’ screens.
Martine, 55, was one of five female broadcasters pulled off air last year and hasn’t been on air since.
Her disappearance from screens followed the BBC’s news channels merging in a cost-cutting measure.
Viewers were left devastated when Martine, at the time, revealed she had hosted her final show.
After previously teasing an imminent return to the screens, Martine shared a snap of herself back in the BBC News studio.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), Martine wrote to her followers: “Piloting in my happy place, Studio E.”

Earlier this month Martine launched legal action against the BBC.
US outlet reported she was taking the BBC to a two-day employment tribunal next month, citing age and gender discrimination.
The BBC had declined to comment when contacted by The Sun.
Meanwhile, The Sun revealed earlier this month how Martine had returned to Broadcasting House in preparation for her return to screens, which will take place later next month.
