Coronation Street sign up Fame Academy star for Steve’s dating app storyline – and it’s bad news for Tim and Sally
CORONATION Street bosses have signed up a Fame Academy star as Steve's dating app storyline continues.
Viewers of ITV soap have watched the taxi driver put himself back out there after Tracy Barlow cheated on him before ending their relationship.
Upcoming scenes will see Steve finally take the plunge and go on a date with one of his matches.
Whilst having a drink in the Rovers Return, Aurora will arrive - played by Fame Academy's Pippa Fulton.
However, the character isn't after Steve, who enjoys his date with another women.
Instead, she grows close to Tim Metcalfe and looks set to cause trouble for him and Sally.

Viewers will know Pippa is best known for her time on the BBC's talent series Fame Academy.
She appeared on the show in 2002 alongside the likes of David Sneddon and Lemar.
Pippa was booted out of the competition in the fourth week but went on to star on other shows.
She played various guest roles in Emmerdale in 2014 and 2017.
Meanwhile, The Sun recently revealed how Hollyoaks actor Jacob Roberts is heading back to soapland as a central character for Lauren Bolton in Coronation Street.
The hunky actor is best known to date for playing loveable but troubled Damon Kinsella in the Chester based soap from 2017 to 2023, when he was axed in one of the show’s character culls.
Now, he’s about to be a whole new kind of character as he gets involved with Lauren Bolton’s disappearance storyline in Corrie - already starting filming for the cobbles.
