Ssaulabi Taekwondo Troupe know how that feels and have now made it all the way through to the BGT 2024 final.

Who are Ssaulabi Taekwondo Troupe?

Ssaulabi Performance Troupe are group of highly skilled taekwondo performers.

Their ages range from 19 to 23, and the troupe is made up of both men and women.

The group's incredible martial arts act includes lots of high kicks and flying through the air.

They can also break a plank in half as though they are slicing through butter.

Where are the Ssaulabi Taekwondo Troupe from?

The impressive troupe hail from South Korea.

They have travelled to England with the hope of winning BGT and they are in with a shot after getting the coveted Golden Buzzer.

If they win the show they will need to return to the UK to perform at the Royal Variety Show in winter 2024.

Who pressed the golden buzzer for Ssaulabi Taekwondo Troupe?

On April 20, 2024, Ssaulabi Performance Troupe packed a punch during their Britain's Got Talent debut.

The martial arts pros literally tore up their audition in a Golden Buzzer-winning performance

The dynamic taekwondo show put on by the group saw them perform intricate somersaults and flips, whilst also breaking wooden planks effortlessly with their hands and feet.

A troupe member even performed pirouettes while consistently breaking several pieces of wood.

They were also several times when they flung themselves into the air to deliver powerful kicks.

But it wasn't the judges who hit the big gold button for Ssaulabi Taekwondo Troupe.

Backstage hosts Ant and Dec were so impressed that they ran out and hit the Golden Buzzer for the troupe.

This means they are automatically through to the BGT 2024 live semi-finals.

Following their audition judge Bruno Tonioli praised the routine for its "power, the beauty and the artistry" that surpassed everything he had previously witnessed on the stage, calling it an act that blew "out of the water".

Fellow judge Alesha Dixon said their "discipline hard work and dedication" had "paid off".

And it now looks like all their effort really has "paid off" as they are through to the BGT 2024 final.

Taking part in Heat One they managed to get the judges vote, after it was down to them and dog act Trickstars.

After getting through, the group said they wanted to show "everything they had".

They now join opera singer Innocent Masuku in the grand finale.

There isn't long to wait until the big BGT final, where the remaining acts will have a shot at being the next champ.

The finalists will get to perform one last time on Sunday, June 2, 2024 in the show's grand final.

The action kicks off from 7.30pm on ITV, and can also be streamed on ITVX.

2010 - Spellbound: Gymnastic troupe Spellbound really impressed judge Simon Cowell with their stunning routines and incredible stunts in 2010. At the time, the music mogul said: “I can only say on live television that was one of the most astonishing things I have ever seen.”

2011 - Jai McDowall: Viewers were stunned when Jai McDowall won the show in 2011, as young singer Ronan Parke was the favourite to win the series.

2012 - Ashleigh and Pudsy: Ashleigh Butler and her adorable pooch Pudsey stole hearts when they performed in series six of the talent show.

2013 - Attraction: Hungarian shadow artist group Attraction won the seventh series of Britain’s Got Talent. The squad had taken part in the German version of BGT in 2012, however, they had only placed seventh.

2014 - Collabro: Classical music band Collabro faced tough competition in the 2014 final as all the finalist were singers, but they went on to scoop the crown.

2015 - Jules O’Dwyer & Matisse: Dog lovers everywhere could't get enough of Jules O’Dwyer and pet pup Matisse. The impressive duo even performed on a tightrope to secure their win.

2016 - Richard Jones: Army man Richard Jones became the first magician in the show’s history to win Britain’s Got Talent.

2017 - Tokio Myers: Pianist Tokio Myers impressed the judges with his blend of classical and electronic music.

2018 - Lost Voice Guy: Stand-up comedian Lost Voice Guy, who performs with a speech synthesiser, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was six months old. However, he defied the odds and is a BGT champ.

2019 - Colin Thackery: Veteran army officer Colin Thackery warmed the nations hearts with his singing voice. He was crowned winner of BGT after singing Michael Ball's Love Changes Everything.

2020 - Jon Courtenay: Singer and pianist Jon Courtenay was Ant and Dec's Golden Buzzer act. After he won the £250,000 prize he said: ""Just amazing, I can't believe it."

2022 - Axel Blake: Comedian Axel Blake scooped the crown after the show was off air for two years during Covid.

2023 - Viggo Venn: The reigning BGT champ is comedian Viggo Venn.
