PIERS Morgan has landed himself two brand new awards nominations after his TV series had a massive shake-up.
The Uncensored host has been acknowledged at the upcoming TRIC Awards - an industry celebration of some of the standout moments from UK television.
Now it’s just down to a public vote to see whether or not he wins.
Piers, whose TV show Piers Morgan Uncensored went fully digital back in February and is now a YouTube exclusive, will be going up against some of his former Good Morning Britain co-stars for TV Personality of the year.
Charlotte Hawkins and Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis have both been given nominations in the category as well.
But the trio have stiff competition from stars including Celebrity Big Brother’s AJ Odudu, Ant and Dec, This Morning’s Alison Hammond and The Chase’s Bradley Walsh.

The Traitors UK’s Claudia Winkleman, Davina McCall, Love Island’s Maya Jama, Romesh Ranganathan, Rylan and Stacey Solomon complete the line-up.
The second category Piers appears in praises him for ‘interview of the year’ after having a head-to-head sit down with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
During the unprecedented hour-long interview, Sunak admitted the Government had failed on their pledge to get NHS waiting lists down - but blamed strikers for making it worse.
He later compared himself to Gareth Southgate, declaring himself ‘like the England Manager’ and that everyone likes to have a pop at his leadership skills.

Piers and Sunak later laid down a £1,000 bet over his new policy on flying migrants out of the UK to Rwanda - sparking dozens of reports across the media.
However, he faces stiff competition there too - with major news scoops all being given a nomination.
Among them is ITV’s Tom Bradby sitting down with Prince Harry after he and wife Meghan Markle grabbed headlines, and Phillip Schofield’s chat with BBC’s Amol Rajan, where he admits to having an ‘unwise but not illegal’ affair with a much younger This Morning staffer.
Also nominated is Good Morning Britain’s January 2023 interview with Matt Hancock, where Kate Garraway confronts the former health minister about his handling of coronavirus, the rules he made and then broke himself for an affair, and his seeming fight to become famous in the aftermath.
This became especially heated as Derek Draper, Garraway's husband, contracted the virus, sparking a near four-year fight for survival. He died in January 2024.
Alastair Stewart reveals his heartbreaking dementia diagnosis to Camilla Tominey in September 2023 is also being given recognition, as is Loose Women’s Interview with Sarah, Duchess of York, where she discussed her breast cancer diagnosis for the first time.
