Our Yorkshire Farm’s Reuben Owen breaks silence on parents’ divorce – and how Amanda and Clive broke news to kids
OUR Yorkshire Farm star Reuben Owen has opened up about the separation of his parents, Amanda and Clive.
Second-oldest child Reuben, 20, featured in the Channel 5 farming documentary alongside his parents and eight siblings, about their lives on Ravenseat Farm.
The documentary followed the Owen family’s remote sheep farm and was narrated by former Death in Paradise lead Ralf Little.
Husband and wife Clive, 68, and Amanda, 49, starred in the series from 2018 to 2022, with the show ultimately concluding after their split.
They had been together for 22 years before breaking up.
Although the nine Owen children had yet to speak publicly about their parents’ separation, Reuben discussed how it was ‘not a big deal’ for the family.

Speaking to , he said: "It's quite simple really. Everyone gets along great. It's not really changed for any of us, if you get me."
Reuben explained his parents had gathered the family together when breaking the news about their split.
He added his seven younger siblings were “not fussed” by Clive and Amanda’s divorce.
Reuben said: “Everyone makes it work. Beyond that, it’s not my business. All I want is for them to be happy. That is all that matters. They are happy and that’s what counts.”
This comes after Reuben bagged his own show after My Yorkshire Farm’s cancellation.
Reuben Owen: Life In The Dales will air for six episodes on Channel 5, chronicling Reuben’s love for machinery and attempts to grow his business.
The programme will start on Channel 5 on Thursday 25 April at 8pm.
His friend Tommy McWhirter and girlfriend Sarah Dow will also feature in the series.
