And she was lucky enough to be invited to his event in London in the evening, making sure to pull out all the stops.

She wrote: "I did it - I got a photo with @jonbonjovi."

Laura is a Bon Jovi super fan and even picked the iconic rock band as her specialist subject when she appeared on Celebrity Mastermind in 2021.

Her glam night out came after Laura was temporarily replaced by Alex Beresford on GMB earlier this month.

She took to social media to explain her absence to viewers at the beginning of April.

Laura wrote: "I’m on leave from @GMB for the next week enjoying the Easter holiday with family and friends - hopefully doing this," posting emojis of a pan of food, wine glasses and a sleepy face.

She then told of her planned social media break and added: "I’ll probably be quieter on here than normal & won’t be posting my daily weather."

Richard Madeley slammed for fat-shaming Laura Tobin in awkward Good Morning Britain exchange

GMB fans were previously left outraged when presenter Richard Madeley made a comment about Laura's weight.

As they got reaquainted after the Christmas break, Richard told her live on air: “You’ve put on a lot of weight with the lack of exercise, haven’t you?... joke”

Laura nervously laughed along with co-host Susanna Reid, who was quick to intervene on her behalf, saying: "Well you wouldn't be the only one, Laura, because I ate for Britain."

Laura explained she may have had a few mince pies and later replied: “I’m just going to take a long waddle across the studio later, Richard.
