ZOE Ball has told fans her mum is now in a hospice following her cancer diagnosis.
The TV radio star, 53, thanked fans and medics for their support as she shared the emotional update.
It comes after Zoe was forced to take time off from her BBC Radio 2 breakfast show last month to care for her ill mum Julia.
During her show on Wednesday, Zoe dedicated a Bon Jovi song to the paramedics who 'gently' moved Julia to a hospice earlier in the week.
Zoe told her listeners: "Mum's in hospice now, pretty tough at the moment for the family.
"I just want to say thank you to John, Scarlett and Charlie, both Charlies actually and Sophie and Laura who are really looking after mum."

She continued: "I know so many people in the same position as Jamie my bro, and my dear mum at the moment.
"Things are really tough for my mum at the moment, just sending out loads of love. And, especially to anyone who is running the marathon this special causes.
"Big shout out to anyone running for cancer charities, especially pancreatic cancer, you're all superheroes. Love you mum."
After coming off air, Zoe thanked fans for their support on her Instagram stories.

She wrote: "Thank you for all your kindness. The mesages, letters and cards for our Mum mean the world.
"Strength and love to the many families and folk touched by cancer.
"Holding tight and so grateful to the incredible people looking after our Ma. We was these bluebells on the way to the hospice."
The star has previously spoken about her complex relationship with Julia - after her parents separated.
She said in the past: "I didn’t see my mum Julia for a few years – she was very young when she married my dad and had me, and when they parted I lived with my dad and my other ‘mum’, his wife Diane."
They have been very close in recent years and Zoe supported her after her husband died in 2013.
