Hollyoaks legend, 41, announces she’s pregnant with second child with soap star husband

A HOLLYOAKS legend has announced she is expecting her second child with her soap star husband.

The actress, 41, shared the happy news today as she posted a picture of her shadow - and huge bump - while standing in the sun.

Carley Stenson - who played Steph Cunningham in the soap - wrote: “We can’t wait to meet you.”

The star added the hashtags: “#springnewlife #ourbaby #bigsister #pregnantat41 #inourlittlebubble.”

Carley, already has daughter Skye with her husband, fellow former Hollyoaks star Danny Mac, 36.

The acting duo were inundated with messages of congratulations.

Jessica Fox wrote: "Beautiful news!! Congratulations."

Lucy Jo Hudson said: "How did I not know? Ahhh congratulations babe xxx."

And Hayley Tamaddon commented: "Ah huge congratulations."

The couple married in a magical woodland setting in the New Forest in 2018.

They welcome their first child together in June 2021.

Carley - who appeared on Dancing On Ice in 2023 - previously opened up about mum guilt after she returned to work the first time round.

She told Hello magazine in the past: “I feel awful when I’m not with her.

“I remember my first day back to work, when Skye had a rash.

"I got off the Tube and I could have gone left to work or right to go home, and I had to ring my mum and say, 'Please tell me what to do’.

“But I knew Skye was with my mother-in-law, who is a nurse, so she could not have been in better hands.”

Carley played mischievous Steph in the Channel 4 soap from 2000 to 2011, while Danny played Mark "Dodger" Savage from 2011 until 2015.
