Beloved Channel 4 talent show returning to screens this month – with brand new spin-off series on the way
CHANNEL 4 has confirmed a beloved talent show will return to screens this month.
The broadcaster has revealed The Piano will be back on air following its hugely successful first series.
Presented by Claudia Winkleman, it sees her searching for passionate pianists at public pianos in train stations across the UK.
But what the participants of The Piano don't know is that their performances are not only being watched by members of the public, but also by acclaimed pianist Lang Lang and musician Mika.
They both are looking for one amateur musician to perform at London's Royal Festival Hall.
Fans can see the new series kick off on Sunday, April 28th at 8pm on Channel 4.

The show is simply called The Incredibly Talented Lucy but an air date for this remains unconfirmed.
Fans watched the 14-year-old from East Yorkshire, who is blind, delivered an impeccable performance on stage at the Royal Festival Hall as part of The Piano's final last year.
Lucy's proud mum was stood backstage as she watched how the crowd burst into applause and gave her daughter a standing ovation.
Previously speaking about The Piano's recommission, Chief Creative Officer at Channel 4, Ian Katz, said: “In a world full of wannabes seeking their moment in the limelight, The Piano was a breath of fresh air.
“It celebrated ordinary people doing something extraordinary for the sheer love of it.
“From 94-year-old widower George who played in Glasgow station to Lucy, the blind 13-year-old who stole the nation’s hearts.”
