I’M A Celeb star Nella Rose has slammed the ITV show for editing her as a ‘troublemaker’ as she returns to YouTube following a three year hiatus.
In the 13-minute-long video, the internet personality revealed to fans why she left the social media platform.
The 26-year-old admitted that after eight years of making video content, her career was stagnant and her financial security as a content creator became a worry.
Nella’s rise to YouTube fame started in 2016, when she was just eighteen years old, by making relatable and comical-style videos and vlogs, gaining her over 800,000 subscribers.
She continued that she wanted to establish a career outside of social media and become a ‘household name’.
Following her break from YouTube, the internet personality went on to present MTV’s Catfish UK while also fronting Channel 4’s viral digital series Tapped Out.

In 2023, Nella appeared on hit reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
However, the TV star was less than happy when she saw how she was portrayed after leaving the jungle.
In the video uploaded to YouTube, she said: “Whilst I was in there they depicted me to be like this troublemaker that was just going around beefing people.
“When I came out I realised that a lot of conversations were not aired, for example intimate emotional conversations that were leading up to certain comments that offended me weren’t aired so now I just look like I’m moving mad. The resolutions weren’t shown.

“I only got airtime when I was being thrown in with the snakes or when I was in conflict, there were so many conversations that were cut out.”
Despite hitting out at the show, Nella still claimed that she “would do it again, a hundred times over” after making friends for life with her fellow celebrity campmates.
Her time in the jungle was marked by explosive rows with former politician Nigel Farage and First Dates star Fred Siriex.
Fred and Nella had clashed after Fred made a remark that he was old enough to be her dad, which the social media star took major offence to due to her father’s death in 2020.
The on-screen argument received over 800 Ofcom complaints.
Nella surrounded herself in more controversy after an explosive row with Nigel Farage over disagreements about the former politician’s immigration policies.
She told hosts Ant and Dec at the time: "I think that Nigel is an amazing person, until he speaks about what he really believes in, and it's like, 'you’re a cool guy but why do you think like that?'"
Nella received a slew of online abuse following her time on the show, and became the second campmate to be eliminated.
