LAST month it was revealed that Aaron Taylor Johnson had been formally offered one of Hollywood’s most infamous roles but the jury’s still out on who will play 007’s leading lady.
EON Productions is on course to start shooting the new James Bond film later this year and they are still on the lookout for the next Bond bombshell.
Rumoured is Netflix star Michelle Keegan and Love Island host Maya Jama who are both strong contenders for the Bond Girl role, say bookies.
The iconic role has seen many famous faces over the years, and the nineties had some of the world’s best actresses play the part.
The Man of the decade was Pierce Bronson, who starred as secret agent James Bond and he had a host of beautiful on screen ladies by his side.

Famke Janssen – GoldenEye, 1995
Famke Janssen played Russian bad girl Xenia Onatopp, a fighter pilot and ruthless assassin.
This was the Dutch actress’s breakout role that catapulted her career to international fame.
After GoldenEye, the now 59-year-old went on to star in City of Industry and is known for her iconic role as Jean Grey in the X Men film series.
The famed actress featured on the hit TV series How to Get Away with Murder and even on Blockbuster hits like Taken alongside Liam Neeson in 2008.

She made the decision to work behind the camera in 2011, choosing to write and direct her first feature, Bringing Up Bobby, which was a box office failure.
Following her unsuccessful stint as a filmmaker, Famke continued to work in front of the camera.

Izabella Scorupco - GoldenEye 1995
Izabella Scorupco became the love interest of 007 as Bond girl Natayla Simonova, and the redhead captivated audiences with her incredible looks.
Later on, she would also appear in other films, such as the thriller Vertical Limit in 2000 and even had a short musical career after releasing her first single, Substitute, which became an international success.
Fast forward to 2024, the 53-year-old has swapped her red hair for long blonde locks.
She now lives a quiet life in Los Angeles and New York City with her two children and husband Karl Rosengren who she married in 2019.
She still occasionally returns to the big screen as she most recently featured on Nordic Netflix show Barracuda Queens.
Teri Hatcher- Tomorrow Never Dies, 1997
Teri Hatcher played the former lover of agent 007, Paris Carver, alongside action man Pierce Brosnan.
However, the pair had quite the difficulty on set when Pierce admitted to rowing with the actress after she reportedly kept everyone waiting and would show up late to set.
It was also rumoured that during filming Teri deliberately slapped the 007 movie star during a stunt sequence.
She was pregnant at the time of filming and had her daughter, Emmerson Tenney the same year.
The actress, 59, is notably most famous for her time on the show Desperate Housewives and Lois Lane on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
Now the Desperate Housewives star claims on social media that she is a number one priority mom, actress, writer, foodie, road tripper and YouTube host.
In 2023, she starred in the Film How to Fall in Love by the Holidays.
Michelle Yeoh - Tomorrow Never Dies 1997
Wai Lin, an agent of the Chinese Ministry of State Security and Bond's ally, was played by Michelle Yeoh.
Her role in the film gained her international recognition, and the Malaysian actress is now considered to be one of the greatest female action movie stars of all time.
She went on to have many memorable roles in the films Memoirs of a Geisha, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Crazy Rich Asians.
The 61-year-old rose to new heights when she won Best Actress at the Oscars in 2023 for her role in Everything Everywhere All At Once as Evelyn Wang.
The Oscar winner is currently married to ex-Ferrari CEO Jean Todt following a nineteen-year engagement and even owns her own production company, Mythical Films.
Sophie Marceau - The World Is Not Enough, 1999
Sophie Marceau starred as Elektra King the iconic Bond villain, the stunning brunette captivating audiences with her seductress looks.
The French bombshell was nominated for Best Actress at the Empire Awards in 2000 after her performance in the film and is considered to be one of France's leading female movie stars.
In 1995, the actress starred in cult classic Braveheart but after The World Is Not Enough in 1999 the 57-year-old made the decision to become a director.
In 2002, she made her debut as a director in the film Speak to Me of Love, where she was named Best Director at the Montreal World Film Festival.

The now 53-year-old faced backlash for wearing racy outfits while playing the scientist.
She ditched the big screen for TV screens when she appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Season 9 of the show.
The actress and TV personality left after only two seasons.
