THE Apprentice star Phil Turner welled up during the interview process.
The pie maker was put through his paces in the show's brutal sit-downs with Lord Sugar's most trusted advisers.
Despite having his business plan pulled apart by the likes of Claude Littner and Linda Plant - it was Claudine Collins who really broke him.
"Who would you say inspired you the most?" she asked him.
"I definately think my mum and dad are my biggest inspirations. Standing there in a close environemnt working every day in day out for a few years, I actually got to appreciate how much work they actually done and how much they sacrificed," he replied.
"Just talking about this makes me feel really warm inside," he added with a smile.

But it was the mention of his children that pushed an already emotional Phil over the edge.
When he was asked what family meant to him by Claudine, he said: "I think you can probably tell from speaking to me it means everything.
"After having children it puts things into perspective, and you start thinking more about what am I leaving my children?
"What legacy can I leave and that's kind of really what it's all about and as I'm getting older I'm starting to realise that."

His eyes filled with tears as he spoke about his loved ones.
But his interviews were enough to get him into the final alongside recruitment consultant Flo Edwards.
But fans were not impressed, with many pointing out that he only won one challenge during his entire time on the programme.
"Surely Phil has the lowest win rate to ever reach the final of #TheApprentice," one wrote.
"phil is gonna win the show after winning one task," said a second.
"PAUL SHOULDVE BEEN YOU IN THE FINAL NOT PHIL," another added.
"Unbelievable Phil is the bloody final," chimed another.
"There’s no way Phil can win the Apprentice, you can’t lose 9/10 tasks and win the show," echoed a fifth.
Tre's testosterone-boosting shots failed to tickle Lord Sugar's taste buds, and Rachel's gym dreams didn't provide enough to grab the business tycoon.
There was a last-minute change to Dr Midha's business plan after he was told by Lord Sugar's advisors to "stick to what he knew".
His plan was a scrubs business, despite having little knowledge of the industry with his expertise being in dentistry.
At the last minute, Paul changed his proposal and suggested that he and Lord Sugar open a second or third dental practice together.
However, Lord Sugar wanted 50 per cent of his current practice, which Paul said wasn't possible.
Many viewers felt that Paul deserved to be in the final more than Phil.
