STRICTLY legend Len Goodman’s home town has revealed plans for an interactive art installation to honour him.
Council chiefs are looking for artists to design a tribute to judge Len, who died last April aged 78.
They want to put the art in Dartford centre, Kent, where Len opened an academy in the 1970s.
The brief is to create a piece that celebrates his love of dance, loyalty to Dartford and will encourage visitors to the town.
A budget has been set at £25,000.
His son James Goodman said: “My dad always had positives things to say about the area so it would be fitting to honour him in this way.”

A Dartford council spokesman said: “Having enriched so many lives, it’s important that a fitting tribute is created in Mr Goodman’s memory.
"We appreciate everything that he has done and hope that people will continue to be inspired upon seeing the tribute.”
He was a head judge on Strictly Come Dancing from its beginning in 2004 until 2016, and Dancing with the Stars from 2005 until 2022.
He passed away aged 78 after a battle with bone cancer.
