ONE of The Apprentice's latest axed contestants has opened up about his gruelling health woes that inspired him to set up his wellness business.
Tre Lowe has been a fan favourite throughout the BBC contest but fell at the final hurdle after failing to make it through the notoriously difficult interviews stage.
The former garage musician has openly suffered with hearing loss caused by Tinnitus but has now confessed that he has had a secret second health battle to contend with.
Tre was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2017 which triggered him to look into overhauling his diet and lifestyle in order to benefit his ailing health.
These battles led Tre to develop the wellness brand that he took to The Apprentice with the hopes of securing Lord Alan Sugar's £250,000 investment.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Tre said: "People don't know that I was also diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2017 - so I'm a big fan of the human bodies ability to heal itself.

"When I was diagnosed, the doctor said to me, 'You've got inflammation and there's nothing we can do about it', and started talking about surgery and what not.
"But I just kept thinking about how I could not have another chronic illness on my plate, so I set about using diet to reverse it, and I did that in six months.
"I'm so passionate about natural wellness, it's a big thing for me - so I am creating my wellness brand.
"But I reserved my Crohn's, it's when the immune system attacks one's own body and I worked out one of the things it was attacking was my gut flora, which is key to the bodies overall health."

Tre admits that by changing his diet and following both a vegan and vegetarian diet, it allowed him to restore his immune system.
The star continued: "I made it healthy again by - the details are a bit much - but you reset your diet.
"I was vegan first, introducing a lot of raw plant based ingredients, and then vegetarian and then pescatarian which allowed my intestines to rest and regenerate.
"I've done that my whole life, with the majority of ailments I've had, I've tried to naturally reverse them.
"Now you wouldn't even know that I've got it - so I don't really speak about it - but it was a challenge during the process, dealing with my health."
Tre's Crohn's disease was not the only thing that affected his stint on The Apprentice.
When I was diagnosed, the doctor said to me, 'You've got inflammation and there's nothing we can do about it', and started talking about surgery and what not.

His tinnitus battle also affected his time in the contest, particularly the show's opening challenge which saw the hopeful contestants flown to a Scottish castle to put on an activity day in the highland countryside.
Tre said: "One of the hardest challenges was my tinnitus, that first challenge going to Scotland and being in that level of silent, painfully silent.

"Silence is like being put into an anabolic chamber - and sleeping in those first couple of days was challenging. My tinnitus became a big issue.
"But being the oldest in the process, I didn't want to highlight any of these things!"
