Chanelle Hayes breaks down in tears in video on why she quit social media as she says ‘loneliness can always find you’

CHANELLE Hayes has shared an emotional video showing her breaking down in tears as she explained why she took a break from social media.

In a montage of clips, the Big Brother legend was seen crying and wrote: "Sorry I’ve not really been around lately."

The last post from Chanelle, 36, on Instagram was at the beginning of March.

She added: "April is Stress Awareness Month.

"Sometimes it doesn’t matter how much love you’re surrounded with, stress, burnout and loneliness can find you."

Fans rushed to send messages of support, with one writing: "Sending love to you Chanelle - really brave of you to post and highlight what many of us are also going through."

Another said: "Thank you for being so honest and I hope you take each and every day as it comes."

And a third added: "We still love you our Chanelle. Hope you are ok."

Another video showed Chanelle smiling in bed with her fiance Dan Bingham.

Chanelle, who is mum to Blakely, 12, and Frankie, five, from previous relationships, announced her engagement to Dan in May 2022.

And last year she revealed she'd said yes to the dress while flaunting her impressive nine stone weight loss.

At the height of her fame in 2009, Chanelle weighed 8.5 stone, barely eating and taking laxatives to try and achieve a WAG body - skinny with big boobs.

The reality star had a secret gastric sleeve operation in 2020 after ballooning to 17 stone.

She took the decision to go under the knife after struggling to overcome binge eating.

Chanelle has also shunned the showbiz lifestyle in favour of some exciting jobs away from the spotlight.

She previously revealed she'd set up her own travel agent business to offer tips to fellow globe trotters.

Chanelle said: "I started this business because I love travel. I love that I have an amazing team of people that I mentor."

She is also an aesthetics practitioner and a student nurse.
