THE BOOKIES have predicted that Netflix star Michelle Keegan or Love Island host Maya Jama are strong contenders to become the next Bond Girl.
Eon Productions, which makes the spy thriller films, is on course to start shooting the new James Bond film this year.
Last month it was revealed that actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson was formally offered the job as the new James Bond.
The Bond Girl actor has not yet been revealed, but bets have been made on who it might be.
, a top bookmaker, has reduced the odds to 4-5 (down from 3-1) on Michelle Keegan - who recent won acclaim for her role in Netflix thriller Fool Me Once - landing the role of the female lead in the next James Bond film.
Jodie Comer ranks second in the firm's betting odds at 6-4, followed by Margot Robbie at 5-2.

They've also found backing for TV siren Maya Jama with her odds slashed in half and now at 5-1 (previously 10-1).
The Love Island host has been tipped to venture over to the big screen to be the next Bond Girl.
Coral’s John Hill said: "Many punters believe Michelle Keegan will join Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the next Bond film as the female lead. The Fool Me Once star is now odds-on in our betting to be involved."
John added: "We have also seen some outside support for Maya Jama. The Love Island presenter has had her odds slashed in half to be the female lead."
