Katya Jones reunites with Tony Adams amid Strictly chaos after her former partner reveals he’s ‘haunted’ by show
STRICTLY Come Dancing's Katya Jones reunited with former show partner Tony Adams for a country getaway at the weekend.
The friendly catch-up came as another of Katya's ex-Strictly partners, Seann Walsh, revealed his time on the programme haunts him to this day.
In one picture with Tony, Katya, 34, and the retired footballer, 57, beamed while sitting at a table with a personalised mug placed on top of it.
The reunion was part of a group get-together at a cottage in rural Oxfordshire.
Giving an overview of the action, Katya wrote on Instagram: "Dancing in the kitchen, shopping, singing, cooking and lots of hugs."
And there was even a clip of some cute micro-pigs named after Strictly favourites.

Katya added: "Kat the Pig, Anton du Pig and Claudia Winklepig have grown a lot and are doing great!"
Tony's time on Strictly came to a premature end in 2022 when he was forced to withdraw through injury a week before the famed Blackpool show.
In all likelihood, the 57-year-old would have been eliminated anyway as he had faced a dance-off with TV and radio host Tyler West.
STRICTLY SCANDAL
Katya and Tony's fond nods to the glitzy programme were at odds with comedian 41-year-old Seann's tainted memories.
He spiralled into depression and suffered panic attacks after a fling with Katya brought an end to his relationship with Rebecca Humphries.
The Strictly stars were caught kissing on a boozy night out and made countless headlines during their time on the show.
Speaking to comedian Russell Howard on the Wonderbox podcast, he said: “I do not dance. What it is more actually is when you turn up to any car park or something, and it says, ‘Strictly No Parking’. I still just go, ‘Arghh’, every time I see it.
“I can hear the word — like a dog hearing something — I can just hear the word strictly and I still go, ‘Arghh!’”
The fallout from the fling turned ugly as Seann and Rebecca's relationship collapse played out in public.
The actress accused Seann of gaslighting her and calling her a “psycho” when she confronted him with her suspicions that something was going on with Katya.
It was only when Seann was pictured snogging Katya, who was then married to fellow pro dancer Neil Jones, that her suspicions were vindicated.
Reflecting on the impact his action had on Rebecca at the time, Seann previously said: “What you are thinking about is: ‘What have you done to someone?’ It’s one thing doing that privately and I don’t judge anyone, because everyone’s got their own backstory, lives or whatever.
“It was horrific. It was crazy.”
He continued: “I have such amazing memories of being on that show and then the repercussions of that kiss, it was crazy. I’m just a comic.
“I can’t go near anything Strictly, I can’t. It just messes my head up.
“One day I hope I can look back at that fondly, that first few weeks, because it was the best time of my life.”
Meanwhile Katya's marriage to Neil came to an end too 10 months after the scandal, though their split was far from acrimonious and the pair are still good friends as well as Strictly co-stars.
In fact, Neil said the kiss played no part in the separation.
He told us: "It had nothing to do with what happened. We were moving in different directions but we are friends again now. Katya is a great girl and I've got nothing bad to say about her."
Seann's comedy work began to dry up after Strictly and he was subjected to cruel heckles when he did perform.
Speaking on the Take Flight podcast he said: "I was a very dream-like young man – I would dream of doing the Apollo, my sitcom.
"Then it was suddenly the first time I was living without hope. A kiss and a statement destroyed my dreams and who I was. What I could have been, what my life could have been – what I could have made myself – was gone."
He faced further setback when his career took another hammer blow in the coronavirus pandemic.
The star was forced to turn to the government scheme for support.
RETURN TO LIMELIGHT
Seann believes he mistakenly returned to performing before he was ready.
He said: “I went back too soon — that’s for sure. You’ve got to kind of let audiences, or the public, almost let them get over it. But I wanted to kind of fight it.
“I didn’t want this thing that was happening to my life to take away the only thing that I had.
“I would have looked unwell. I was extremely thin and gaunt. It was so difficult. The audience didn’t know how to feel. They’d get up, they’d leave. Sometimes they’d tell me that they were appalled by me.”

Seann quit booze and went on to I’m A Celeb in 2022 to try to resurrect his image — finishing in fifth.
He now shares a child with his girlfriend Grace Adderley, a dance teacher, after meeting in 2019.
