Kerry Katona steps in for reality TV star after they quit Easter panto at the last minute
KERRY Katona replaced a reality TV star who backed out of the Easter pantomime at the last moment.
The panto production team took to Instagram to announce the casting update.
Kerry has appeared in numerous pantomimes, including a previous production of Beauty and the Beast.
On this occasion, she graced the stage to step into Louie Spence's shoes, portraying the role of the Sheriff.
The official theatre page posted a statement that read: "Due to personal reasons, Louie Spence has withdrawn from the production of Robin Hood.
"We are delighted to announce that the role of Sheriff of Nottingham will now be shared between our friends Kerry Katona and DIVINA DE CAMPO who have kindly agreed to step in last minute.

"Kerry will play the role in Redditch, Northampton, Ellesmere Port and Mansfield. Divina will play the role in Clacton, Grimsby and Doncaster.
"We are sure you will join us in giving them a warm welcome to the cast of Robin Hood."
Fans were delighted when they saw Kerry step on stage.
One attendee took to Instagram after the show and commented: "Kerry was wonderful last night! To step in at short notice with no rehearsal time is not for the faint hearted! It was entertaining, witty and down right hilarious."
Another added: "Kerry was amazing yesterday, it was the most chaotic panto. All the cast were amazing and if something went wrong there reaction was so quick."
"Well done kerry .. you clearly have a heart of gold," penned a third.
And a fourth wrote: "Gutted that Louie has withdrawn but really hope he is ok, have seen Kerry Katona perform before and she is amazing. Can't wait to see the show on Thursday evening in Northampton xx."
Kerry was a member of girl group Atomic Kitten from 1998 until she quit in 2001.
Over the years her income has included royalties from her music with Atomic Kitten, her brand deals, and money earned from personal appearances.
