TAKE IT AWAY

‘Thank God it’s the last series!’ say Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway viewers after hidden camera skit

THE long-running series will end next weekend and for some fans it can't come soon enough

ANT and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway viewers can’t wait for the show to end next week after a less than impressive prank sketch tonight.

The prank section - titled I’m A Celebrity Get Out of My Ear: The Revenge - saw Ant fall victim to previous prank victims Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.

He was interviewing unsuspecting pest control workers and had an ear-piece in to act how the two presenters told him to.

But the various pranks that saw him ask the pest controllers to feed him, play a voicemail about breaking Gordon Ramsay’s toilet and spraying them with disinfectant didn’t exactly amuse fans.

Some of them hit out at the section, thankful that the show was taking an extended break soon.
