DRAGONS' Den viewers were left fuming at nail product and rage it is a “waste of plastic.”

Sisters Tori and Carrie entered the den in last night's episode to promote their small business Nailpad.

The pair said they have come up with a solution for people who struggle to paint their nails neatly and on the go.

Their product provides a flat and even surface for your hand with an indented hole to hold the nail polish in place to prevent spills.

Tori claimed the Nailpad "solves and the gap in the market we have found.”

Carrie added: "It’s a portable, compact manicure and pedicure accessory. It has a round, even surface. It has a polished potholder and fold-out fit."

They were asking for an investment of £60,000 for a 35 per cent equity stake in the business.

However, the product failed for Peter Jones as it couldn't sit between his knees - but said maybe his are too big.

And even though Deborah Meaden is an advocate for sustainability, she was more concerned about margins and asked if the sisters if they could get the cost down to make the product.

Meanwhile, Touker Suleyman expressed his worries about Nailpad being a one product business.

And Steven Bartlett said the "product has potential," but has limited hours in his day to offer business strategy to a company he is unsure will have global success.

BBC viewers failed to see the appeal and slammed the dragons' for supporting a product made of that much plastic.

Taking to X - formally known as Twitter - one wrote: “What a waste of money. Just more useless plastic crap to pollute the planet.”

Another said: "It looks useful but is it particularly original? It looks very plastic. Is it recycled material?”

A third penned: “Such unnecessary plastic. Just sit at a table....”

A fourth added: “What a stupid product. Just a waste of resources,” a fifth penned."
