The former footballer had been offered a footballing job in Spain and asked Tracy to go with him - and she eagerly agreed.
Ken then whisked them all to the Rovers to throw Tracy a farewell drink though that went astray when Steve arrived, pushed his way through and sat on the other side of the pub alone.
The atmosphere turned chilly leading to Tracy trying to make him feel better.
She told him: “I was hoping we might have a civil goodbye.”
However, she was distracted by a call from Tommy who told her he was on his way.
But as he walked in Steve simply walked out leaving Tracy looking guilty.
Later the Barlows - and Abi and Kirk - assembled to wave her and Tommy off for their new life in Spain.
“Right you, take care of my dad for me,” she told Adam and Daniel.
But as Abi gave her a proper goodbye, Tracy told her: “Don’t be such a drama queen, it’s not forever.”
Ken told her: “Just take care of yourself.”
“I always do,” she told her dad as they hugged goodbye.
Turning to Amy, she told her: “I’m not going to get all emotional because as soon as we’re settled, I’m sending you a plane ticket.
“I’m taking a punt darling. That’s all I know. I love you so much.”
With that she climbed into the van and Tommy drove them away, stopping briefly for Tracy to lock eyes with Steve before leaving Weatherfield.
